Infrastructure Architecture

I design and operate systems that game development teams depend on at scale — bare-metal Kubernetes clusters, hybrid cloud architectures, and the identity, networking, and edge delivery layers that connect them. Challenge: High-Performance Game Development Infrastructure

Problem: Game studio needed highly available, secure infrastructure to host critical internal services (Horde CI/CD, build processes) and live service game while maintaining performance and staying within budget constraints.

Solution: Designed resilient hybrid Azure architecture with bare-metal Kubernetes clusters integrated via Azure Arc, featuring auto-scaling capabilities and centralized monitoring for optimal performance and cost control.

Implementation: Built bare-metal Kubernetes clusters on high-performance servers, integrated HashiCorp Vault for automated secret/certificate rotation, deployed Horde CI/CD and ArgoCD for streamlined development workflows, all managed through Azure Arc for unified governance.

Result: Achieved 99% uptime for critical build and development services while reducing build/cook times by 75%, enabling faster game development cycles and improved developer productivity.
